Becton-Dickinson came to Siegel+Gale for help reimaging how the report can and should communicate the goals and approach Becton-Dickinson was taking to positively impact their manufacturing presence. Traditionally published as a booklet, much of the information conveyed in it was far deeper and more multi-faceted. To convey this, BD needed an experience that went beyond just a printed book and could be accessed faster, yield more information for shareholders and the public alike, and change the way major companies demonstrate their continued CSR efforts in this modern age.
Siegel+Gale analyzed the mission of the report, strategized how to reimagine it, and executed in a simple, surprising fashion. By turning the report into a digital experience, it brought the depth that Becton-Dickinson prided itself on to life in a beautifully designed, easily navigable microsite where people could go to learn about their continued sustainability efforts.
By re-envisioning BD’s sustainability story in a non-linear, immersive digital experience, Siegel+Gale was also able to create a flexible visual system, replete with simple iconography, typography, and brand-led language that disclosed the steps BD was taking every day to remain a positive leader in the healthcare and medical supply fields, and it also showcased them as a forward-thinking, story-lead company.
Now, with this robust report brought to life digitally, Becton-Dickinson has a digital experience that not only attests to their good works, but it looks good too.
