Melanie Sylvan

Account Director, Relationship management, based in New York

Melanie cut her teeth as a producer in the shark tank of New York professional theatre. During her 10 years of working with commercial and non-profit theatre companies, she created award-winning shows in Los Angeles, Chicago and Budapest as well as New York, managing vastly different personalities to bring complex productions to life within strict deadlines and budgets. Melanie transitioned to branding full-time when she joined us in 2010. She puts her creativity and finely honed management skills to work as a dedicated account director for American Express, ensuring that multiple, large branding projects run smoothly and successfully.

Prior to joining Siegel+Gale, Melanie combined her producing work with writing and naming assignments at Landor, where her clients included Verizon.

Melanie earned a BFA in musical theatre with academic honors from Emerson College. She was named one of NYTheatre.com’s 2007 People of the Year for her leadership of Electric Pear Productions, an award-winning theatre company she founded.
