Matt DuBeau

Strategy Director, Simplification, based in New York

Matt DuBeau has always been a bit of a creative mischief-maker, exposing calcified convention for a good laugh. As a high school student, he slipped into regular morning announcements to report on fictitious teams and clubs, such as “I’m sorry to report the surfing club’s trip to Hawaii has been postponed due to weather.” Since then Matt has channeled his creativity into bringing clarity and simplicity to his innovative design work.

Matt is back for his third tour of duty with us—he just can’t stay away for very long. Over his Siegel+Gale career he has worked with a wide range of clients, including Allstate, Comcast, Morgan Stanley, IRS, Oxford Healthcare, American Express, Caterpillar and Genworth Financial. At his most recent position as director of clarity at Sullivan & Company, Matt’s client roster included Charles Schwab, Columbia Management and MetLife. He also served as a senior associate at Lippincott.

Matt received an MFA in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in English literature from the University of Rochester. A former sous chef, Matt loves oysters from Wellfleet, wine from Saint-Julien, whiskey from Islay and rhubarb from his backyard.
