Lori Cummings

Group Director, Leadership, Relationship management, based in New York

With extensive experience in both design and project management, Lori is the ideal person to lead our global relationship management practice. She’s responsible for integrating, as she puts it, “the rigor of project management with the human side of teamwork and collaboration.” Her skill at managing team dynamics and her ability to identify and enhance processes that are most effective for individual offices across the globe have fueled a successful career that spans 20 years and two separate terms at Siegel+Gale.

Lori first joined Siegel+Gale in the late eighties as an information designer with the Simplification group, where she contributed to information design programs for clients such as the IRS, Prudential, Allstate, Aetna, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Fidelity Investments, PNC Advisors, Progressive, Sears, American Express, DHL, Royal Mail and nearly every consumer-facing telecommunications company in the U.S. and UK.

After a brief stint in our London office in the early nineties, she returned to New York to lead the Simplification Practice. After leaving Siegel+Gale to pursue her certification in project management from the American Management Association, Lori served as a project management consultant for BusinessEdge Solutions and worked on UI development for Medco Health. She also spent time leading U.S. client relationships at BrandActive Toronto, where she oversaw corporate identity implementation for State Farm, JPMorgan, AT+T Wireless/Cingular, Caterpillar and others.

In her free time, Lori can be found bringing elegantly simple, surprisingly fresh approaches to her perennial garden, and spending quality time with her family. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Design at IIT Chicago as well as her certification from the AMA.
