Brendan Byrne

SVP, Global Business Development, Leadership, based in New York

In 1995, when the internet was in its infancy, Brendan landed his first digital project when he persuaded the Zambian Ministry of Finance that the web had an advantage over traditional print methods as a way to reach investors. With his knack for seeing what’s next before others do, Brendan keeps Siegel+Gale’s global business development ahead of the curve, navigating our way through a dynamic, constantly changing marketplace.

Before joining Siegel+Gale, Brendan served as a managing partner at Bridge Financial Services in Westport, CT, where he led a large sales team and created an innovative, multichannel, end-to-end lead generation program. Earlier, as part of IntraLinks, a New York pure-play software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, Brendan served as both VP and sales manager of new markets and corporate services. In those roles he was responsible for evaluating, selecting and launching new sales verticals. He initiated and managed the firm’s two largest product offerings—M&A DataRooms and Corporate Services—which now make up approximately 70 percent of its total revenue.

Prior to IntraLinks Brendan served as head of North American sales and marketing for inreon, an online reinsurance marketplace that was a joint venture between Munich Re, Swiss Re and Accenture, running all aspects of the U.S. office including sales and marketing. Earlier in his career, Brendan founded GlobalLink.com, a marketing communications firm, and served as director of business development for SME Branding.
