Siegel+Gale Wins Double Gold at the Transform Awards 2011
LONDON, 8 APRIL 2011 – Siegel+Gale’s excellence in rebranding was recognised at last night’s Transform Awards, with its work for Blizoo winning gold awards for both best corporate rebrand following merger or acquisition and best rebrand by region: Central and Eastern Europe.
Now in their second year, the Transform Awards are the UK’s only dedicated celebration of rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation.
When CableTEL and Eurocom, Bulgaria's two top cable TV providers, merged in 2010 with the aggressive objective of becoming the country's leading provider of both digital television and broadband Internet, they faced the daunting challenge to shift the sentiments of a Bulgarian public that perceived both cable companies as dull, corporate and unsympathetic.
Siegel+Gale developed an inspirational brand positioning, "Explore Your Universe" that reflected the limitless potential of next-generation technology. A transformative new identity, Blizoo, was born - dazzling consumers with its state-of-the-art technology and triple play offerings, whilst fostering pride in employees.
Judged by a panel of branding experts, communications practitioners and academics, the Transform Awards were established by Communicate magazine, the UK’s leading magazine for corporate communications and stakeholder relations, to celebrate creativity, innovation and effectiveness in brand transformation.
